Anne Marie Lesniak-Betley
Anne Marie is a compassionate listener who believes that the healing journey is a partnership between the client and the practitioner, and she brings a variety of skills and knowledge to that partnership. She has studied both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles; the Japanese style includes a variety of gentle and non-insertive techniques. She incorporates Zero Balancing into her treatments; Zero Balancing is a touch therapy for body and mind, and can be both relaxing and energizing. Anne Marie is also a Reiki practitioner.
Anne Marie is a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture (Chinese and Japanese styles) from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine.
Prior to her career in acupuncture, Anne Marie has worked in the field of software quality assurance and testing; more recently she was employed in the library of a public high school. In addition, she has been involved in local community affairs, has volunteered both at Emerson Hospital (in Concord, MA) and at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (in Bedford, MA), and has a Bachelor’s of Arts with a double major in Mathematics and Philosophy from Boston College.
